Showtime the passenger belt was hard to latch and not beingness recognized. Then about a month later the drivers side started doing the same matter. I detest driving the Jeep at present equally I accept to put up with the abrasive chinkle. If I could find that chime I'd tear information technology out. Can't believe at that place wasn't a recall on this equally virtually other Jeep owners I've talked to have had the same problem.

Last year my driver side seat chugalug buckle became hard to latch; with the seat belt latched into the buckle the airbag warning light stays on. The most annoying part is the fasten your seat chugalug warning beeping sound will not stop beeping. It does not affair at what speed your going. For a while y'all could maneuver and agree the seat chugalug into the buckle to cease the beeping but this quickly became not an option. Not only is this unsafe to drive my vehicle simply my hand/wrist hurt similar hell later holding the seat chugalug into the buckle.

I took the vehicle into the dealer and they quoted me for merely the part around $348 and told me seat belts are not covered nether warranty at approximately fourscore,000 miles. I contacted the manufacturer and they were unwilling to aid me with the cost of repair or info on how to plough off the spike your seat chugalug beeping sound that drives you basics. I find this unbelievable. In that location should be a manner to shut off that horrible sound. After driving around ane day with the constant beeping sound I wanted to trade my vehicle in for a different vehicle. I didn't do this considering my vehicle was paid off and in skilful condition. I didn't want auto payments.

At present at approximately 105,000 miles my rider side seat belt is doing the same verbal matter. iv/5/17

This is clearly a parts malfunction and not a user issue. This should be a recall considering it's dealing with both restraint systems seat belt and airbags. If you featherbed(shut off) the fasten your seat belt alarm sound you lot risk the airbags not deploying. You would think the manufacture would desire to assist with this result because I could see people trading their vehicle in for a different brand.

We have been pushing in the release button, but now this is not working. May have to start holding in while driving, not a adept affair. This started with merely i belt so went to both front belts and the chinkle would finish. This forenoon it did not terminate except by property it in place. All in all this has been a very skillful vehicle but I hate to have to pay for this to be fixed.

In order to cheque it is a $69.00 fee. Then the order is made and the $69.00 is deducted from your total nib of approximately $497.00. You accept to purchase the whole unit and not just the seat belt. The seatbelt volition latch when you lot hold downwardly on the red button and then shove into the slot. The motorcar will continue to ding until you become onto the complimentary way and and then stop i you get off. And so annoying.

I bought this Jeep in March on 2022 , and so few months afterwards buying it the drivers seat chugalug stopped latching unless i depressed information technology to make it latch and then a month or and so afterward the passengers seat belt started doing the aforementioned thing. Just since and so the seat belt chime started going off and the seat belt lite on the dash started staying on too. At first you lot could unbuckle the passengers seat belt and rebuckle and information technology would cease merely at present if someone is in the passengers seat information technology information technology doesn't cease. Now it doesn't matter whether someone is in the passengers seat or not, Information technology volition come on with merely the commuter in the seat and i always buckle upwardly. The chime will go along going off for a long fourth dimension just it volition eventually terminate for awhile but the seat chugalug light will stay on merely if i cease at a light and start going again it will outset chiming once again. it is very abrasive and the latches is aggravating to have to depress them to latch them. At that place should be a recall on these 2006 jeep Yard Charokees ,. I've never had a trouble with one until now and it doesn't have this trouble till your out of warranty, then information technology has to come out of our pocket. Mine is still non stock-still... not happy this is my 3rd Jeep Grand Charokee to own accept been wanting to go a quaternary one but information technology may depend on how this is handled. It seems like it would be a remember on this since I'm non the only ane having this problem.
